Thalgo was created in 1964 by pharmacist, Andre Bouclet, who was passionate about the regenerating power of the sea. Thalgo was the first skincare brand that specialised in skincare products based on algae and marine extracts and was intended to be used by medical and thalassotherapy centres. Thalgo is a leader in today’s 'marine beauty' market, offering skincare lines, cosmetics, and marine-based nutritional supplements. 100% of Thalgo's formulas include marine ingredients (more than 70% of which are algae), whilst respecting marine biodiversity and their new formulas include at least 90% natural origin ingredients and do not contain any ingredients from animals.
