Cantharis has traditionally been used for the symptomatic relief of bladder irritation with painful urination and burning, scalding and great urgency. It has also traditionally been used for symptomatic relief of a sore, burning throat, burns, scalds and sunburn. It is often associated with urinary and sexual complaints with inflammations and over-sensitivity in all parts.
