Lalibela, a sacred city in Ethiopia, perched at an altitude of over 2,500 meters, is a place of pilgrimage and celebration shrouded in mystery. According to legend, angels descended from heaven to carve twelve churches directly into the rock in a single night in the 12th century. Lalibela by Memo Paris captures the essence of this magical moment, transformed into a fragrance full of joy and spiritual depth.
The opening notes unfold with the freshness of freesia, green accords and the softness of jasmine, evoking the atmosphere of morning prayer under the Ethiopian sky. The middle notes come to life with a radiant blend of orange blossom, sensual ylang-ylang, enchanting rose and powdery heliotrope, enveloping the wearer in an aura of elegance and warmth. The base notes combine the earthy depth of patchouli, sweet vanilla and soft musk, creating a long-lasting and unforgettable trail.
An ode to spiritual enthusiasm, mystical moments and the splendor of unknown landscapes, Lalibela is a perfumed water that transports you to a world where history mingles with legend and every breath tells a story of the power of faith and beauty.
The fragrance was launched in 2007 and was created by perfumer Alienor Massenet.
