Nutra Organics coconut flour is a pure product. No chemical refining or bleaching here, and nothing artificial added, just pure whole food goodness.
Coconut Flour is a grain free and a naturally gluten free alternative to other flours.
It is a sweet, fine powder suitable for those following a Paleo or gluten free lifestyle.
How is Coconut Flour made?
Coconut Flour is made from fresh organic coconut meat.
The meat is dried and the oil is extracted. Then it is finely ground into a powder similar to wheat flour.
Directions:
Like other flours, coconut flour can be used in making bread, muffins, cookies, fritters, pancakes or slow cooked creations. Coconut flour cannot be used in the same ration due to the high fibre content, it will require more liquid to be added.
A cost effective alternative, you do not need much to make a dish thicker and more delicious. What is the best baking ration for coconut flour? 1 cup wheat flour = 1/3 coconut flour, 1 egg, 1/3 cup of extra liquid.
Warnings:
Coconut flour is sensitive to moisture.
Store in a cool dry place preferably in an airtight container.
This product is certified organic, super fresh and has no additives or preservatives to extend its life.
Best to store under 18°C.
For maximum freshness and tastiness, use within 4 weeks of opening.
This product may not be right for you.
Always read the label, warnings and instructions for use, before purchase.
